I thought since I can’t financially fund some of the projects/applications I love so dear, I could at least pass a link on to them. These pieces of software have made my life as a computer lover, systems administrator and home network buff possible. Free, OpenSource software simply rocks.

First and foremost is Afraid.org. This is the utility/project that takes what you type in and hands it to my serves. Openlug.com, justinsteiger.com, jedisteiger.com, jumpinjavaonline.com, blondetechnologies.com and their subdomains all go through Afraid.org’s DNS servers.

Second and for whom I send my fondest thank you is Ubuntu Linux. I think of them as the distribution that can make the biggest hole in Microsoft’s wallet with it comes to end user Linux.
